oldman Sachs has named Aekloveya Shyam as head of mergers & acquisitions in its Global Real Estate Group, according to an internal memo obtained by Reuters. Shyam previously led multi-billion dollar deals across the US, Europe, and Asia while managing director in the Healthcare Group within Investment Banking. In his new role, he will focus on strategic transactions and advisory services under the supervision of Mike Graziano and Andy Jonas, co-heads of the global Real Estate group. Shyam joined Goldman Sachs as an associate in 2011 and was promoted to managing director in 2019. A Goldman spokesperson has confirmed the details outlined in the memo.
