he Grand Forks Economic Development Corporation has partnered with LocationOne.com to create an interactive map tool for commercial real estate. This online platform allows businesses, developers, and site selectors to explore available properties in the region.
The tool provides detailed property lists that can be filtered by type, size, zoning, and other criteria. Additionally, demographic analysis is included, featuring population data within a 30-mile radius and statistics from Esri reports.
"This investment will help us reach national site selectors and business decision-makers who may not be familiar with our opportunities," said Keith Lund, EDC president and CEO. "By making our available properties more visible online, we increase the likelihood of being considered as a competitive option for expansion."
The tool is designed to strengthen relationships between the EDC and site selectors, allowing Grand Forks to proactively market its assets to potential project developers. While interactions with selectors have been generally positive in the past, Lund believes this effort will help improve their chances of securing projects.
The interactive map can be found at GrandForks.org/buildings-and-sites.
