ouad Chartouni, a Lebanese-born hotelier and real estate developer, has built a luxury resort-style beach house in the Hamptons that's now on the market for $19.85 million. As the owner of the Upper East Side's Lowell Hotel since 1982, Chartouni is known for his take on luxury.
The 10,000-square-foot spec house at 109 Hand Lane in Amagansett features seven bedrooms and was designed with hospitality in mind by Chartouni and his son Philipp. The gated property has a "five-star resort feel," complete with a stone porte-cochère that opens to a fully decked-out retreat.
Inside, the residence boasts an elevator, great room, chef's kitchen, and main bedroom suite with sitting area, marble bath, and two mahogany walk-in closets. Three additional ensuite guest rooms are designed for convenience, with "room service stations" for late-night drinks and morning coffees.
The pool is a standout feature, surrounded by landscaped grounds with gas fire pits and stone patios. The 2,000-square-foot pool house has a mini bar, movie theater, gym, and office. A finished basement includes a private bar, billiards room, and 275-bottle wine room.
Co-listing brokers Douglas Elliman's Kyle Rosko and Marcy Braun, and Corcoran's Tim Davis, are handling the sale of this luxury retreat.
