proposal to transform downtown's historic Morris Memorial Building into a hotel and upscale bar is moving forward after receiving Metro approval. The city's Downtown Code Design Review Committee has given conditional approval for the project, but the developer must now work with the Nashville Department of Transportation on the adaptive reuse plan.
