AN JOSE – The Lion Building, a 1908 brick structure at 97 South Second St. that housed L. Lion & Sons Carpet & Furniture, sits next to East San Fernando Street and was sold on Sept. 4 for $3.7 million to Green Valley Corp., a Bay firm headed by Case Swenson. County records list Lion Building LLC, an affiliate whose executive Martin Menne is connected to Swenson’s investment and development group, as the seller.
