oda Kotb is trading in her Manhattan lifestyle for a quieter life in suburban Bronxville, Westchester County. The 60-year-old "TODAY" show co-host has moved into a sprawling 4,000-square-foot home with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, just a short train ride from the city.
Kotb's decision to leave the high-profile morning show is also driven by her desire to spend more time with her daughters, Haley and Hope. "I want my house for the kids to feel warm and cozy," she said on a recent episode of "TODAY with Hoda & Jenna." The new home features a chef's kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and a sun-filled family room perfect for downtime with the kids.
The primary bedroom is a retreat in itself, boasting an expansive 765 square feet, an ensuite spa bathroom, and radiant heat. But this move is more than just an upgrade in square footage – it's Kotb's way of giving her daughters a simple, grounded life she craves for them.
Kotb has already begun using the spacious backyard for family dinners under the stars, surrounded by colorful gardens where her daughters can run around. The nearby schools and parks make Bronxville the perfect place to raise her kids.
The move might have come as a surprise to fans, but Kotb had been thinking about it for a while, even teasing the shift earlier this year when she said she was ready for a "fresh start." Her decision to leave "TODAY" was also influenced by her desire to spend more time with her kids.
As Kotb embarks on this new chapter, she's excited for the adventures ahead. "We're in for a brand-new adventure," she told her daughters. "We're going to have so much fun. We have new friends, and we also have old friends."
