H
oward Hanna, the nation's largest independent brokerage, has launched a new natural language search experience on its website. Powered by ListAssist, this feature allows buyers and sellers to find homes using conversational descriptions of properties, neighborhoods, and nearby amenities.

To stay competitive with portal giants who have heavily invested in AI-driven enhancements, Howard Hanna is arming itself with innovative technology. "We need to give consumers a reason to start their property journey on your website," said Chris McGoldrick, founder and CEO of ListAssist. The integration will provide Howard Hanna agents and executives with valuable insights into consumer behavior.

ListAssist's AI-powered search tool also handles the search for the Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage in Nashville. The technology is designed to make home searching easier while providing a rich dataset for real estate professionals. This dataset includes interactive reports on top search words, locations, and interests.

The ListAssist search is based on a mix of MLS data, Census Bureau data, and other sources. However, the weighting of specific data or terms over others is emphasized to determine what's most important to people. Interestingly, live customers have found that keywords listed in the beginning of the search are given the most weight, indicating their top priorities.
