he nation's largest family-owned brokerage continues to expand its reach across the eastern U.S., with two significant deals announced this week. Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is growing by adding regional companies to its fold, further solidifying its market position in the Carolinas and Southeast.

In South Carolina, The Alliance Realty Group, a successful real estate firm with offices on Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, has been acquired by Howard Hanna | Allen Tate. Founded by Bob Clarkson in 2011, the company has become a local success story, closing 260 transactions totaling $140 million in sales last year. Clarkson will stay on as area manager and broker in charge.
In Ohio, Big Hill Realty is merging with Hanna to offer more robust services to consumers and strengthen its regional presence. "We're excited to join Howard Hanna Real Estate Services," said Jeff Owens, president of Big Hill Realty.
