oston-based Hunneman, a commercial real estate firm, has made a strong start in 2025 with 50 transactions completed across leasing and sales. These deals total over half a million square feet and generated approximately $42 million in sales volume.
In addition to transactional activity, the company's property management portfolio has expanded by 2.4 million square feet, now encompassing more than 14 million square feet across Massachusetts. Despite ongoing challenges in the commercial real estate sector, Hunneman has maintained steady momentum through its market knowledge and deep client relationships.
"We're grateful for our clients' trust in us to manage their properties," said Steve Prozinski, CEO and COO of Hunneman. "In a constrained market, having a trusted advisor with 100 years of experience is crucial."
Notable deals include an 80,000-square-foot renewal and expansion for a long-standing client, a 70,000-square-foot industrial lease with All Access Equipment, and a 30,000-square-foot agreement in Chelsea with North Suffolk Community Services.
Hunneman's investment sales team also reported a strong first quarter, closing on a 143-unit multifamily property in Gardner for nearly $18 million. The firm's property management division has grown to manage over 14 million square feet of real estate, up from 11.6 million in 2022.
As Hunneman celebrates its centennial year in commercial real estate, the company's recent performance signals continued growth and client confidence heading into the rest of the year.
