vana Trump's iconic Manhattan townhouse, a 8,725-square-foot limestone residence on East 64th Street, has been reduced to $17.9 million after three years on the market and multiple price cuts. The property, which was listed for $26.5 million in 2022, just months after her death at age 73, has seen a total decline of about 32% from its original ask.
The five-story townhouse, purchased by Trump in 1992 for $2.5 million (approximately $5.4 million today), was transformed into an unapologetically maximalist statement over the years. The grand entrance gallery, lit by a crystal chandelier and edged with gilded paneling, sets the tone for the rest of the townhouse, which features rooms dense with fabric, pattern, and sparkle.
The interior design reflects Trump's extravagant style, with gold-draped dining rooms, pink mirrored baths, a leopard-print library, and a Versailles-inspired entertaining space. The residence also boasts a private balcony off the primary suite, where Trump would often read the paper and enjoy her morning coffee.
The townhouse has hosted numerous high-profile gatherings, including parties featuring pianists, actors, and foreign dignitaries. Even in its most ornate rooms, Trump maintained a sense of intimacy, surrounding herself with friends and family.
Eric Trump, Ivana's son, described the house as embodying his mother's sense of comfort and belonging. "My mom absolutely loved that house," he said. "She was so comfortable there." The property is now listed by Adam Modlin of Modlin Group and Douglas Elliman's Roger Erickson in a co-exclusive arrangement.
