ackson State Community College's Workforce Solutions is launching a 90-hour affiliate broker pre-licensure course on September 4. This entry-level program, designed for those new to real estate, will meet three nights a week from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Jackson campus over 11 weeks.
"We've created this course with working adults in mind who want to transition into real estate," said John McCommon, Director of Workforce Solutions. "It's an affordable and effective way for West Tennesseans to get started."
Upon completing the course, participants will be eligible to take the Tennessee Affiliate Broker Exam, which grants a license allowing them to work under a licensed broker. To become a licensed affiliate broker, individuals must meet basic requirements, including being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing electronic fingerprinting.
