atherine Clay, a seasoned executive with expertise in derivatives markets and digital assets, has been elected to Jones Lang LaSalle's Board of Directors. She will join the board on May 21, 2025, and serve on several key committees.
Clay brings extensive experience in financial technology, data analytics, and risk management from her current role as Executive Vice President at Cboe Global Markets. In this position, she oversees the global derivatives business across both US and European markets.
Prior to her current role, Clay led Cboe's efforts to develop digital assets and expand its offerings of indices, analytics, and execution services. She joined Cboe in 2010 as Chief Strategy Officer and later served as CEO after the company acquired LiveVol in 2015.
"Catherine brings a wealth of leadership experience to JLL," said Chairman Siddharth N. Mehta. "Her expertise will be invaluable in driving our growth strategy and strengthening our global operating platform."
JLL's CEO, Christian Ulbrich, added that Clay's leadership roles will provide valuable insights into capital markets, risk management, and technological innovation. He expressed excitement at welcoming her to the board.
Clay holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado. She joins an experienced Board of Directors that includes Hugo Bagué, Matthew Carter Jr., Susan Gore, Tina Ju, Bridget Macaskill, Deborah H. McAneny, Moses Ojeisekhoba, Jeetu Patel, Larry Quinlan, and Efrain Rivera.
