nventor and entrepreneur Joy Mangano is putting her stunning 9-acre Long Island estate, Swan Manor, up for auction with Concierge Auctions. The property, which has been on the market since 2022, was originally listed for $20 million and had a last asking price of $11.99 million.

Mangano, known for creating the Miracle Mop and other successful home products, has spent millions renovating the estate, which she purchased in 2000 for $1.35 million. The property features a 17,790-square-foot main house with nine bedrooms, a two-story great room, indoor pool, formal dining room, gym, sauna, hot tub, wine cellar, and more.

The gated estate, located on Long Island's North Shore between Manhattan and the Hamptons, also includes a 2,349-square-foot barn-turned-guesthouse with three bedrooms. Starting bids for the auction are expected to be between $4 million and $7 million, with no minimum bid required.

Mangano, who has sold over $3 billion worth of home products, including 1 billion hangers, says she's sad to leave the estate but is excited about the next chapter in her life. "This is a beautiful estate, and it also feels like a home," she said. "When I first came here with my family, now I'm rambling around with my dog. The space is miraculous."

The auction comes as Mangano's life story is being told on stage in the new musical "Joy: A New True Musical," starring Tony-nominated actor Betsy Wolfe. Mangano says her home has been a source of inspiration for her creativity and that she's thrilled to see the show getting standing ovations.
