atherine Cruz, P.E., LEED AP, has been promoted to Engineering Manager at Hancock Associates in Danvers, MA. As "Katie" to her colleagues, she will oversee project management, quality control, design procedures, and personnel while leading business development initiatives and joining the marketing team.

    Cruz's expertise spans all aspects of land development engineering, from initial planning through construction. She has managed projects across various types, including commercial, residential, educational, and industrial developments in urban, suburban, and rural settings. Her experience includes site design, drainage, utility permitting, and project administration.

    With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, Cruz is licensed as a Professional Civil Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is also LEED AP certified and a licensed Soil Evaluator. A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), she joined Hancock Associates as an Associate in 2021 and was recently elected to the company's Board of Directors.
