The trailer for Love Hurts dropped on October 23, highlighting Quan's first leading role since his Oscar win for Everything Everywhere All at Once. In this thrilling ride, he plays Marvin Gable, a mild-mannered real estate agent whose life is turned upside down when an old flame sends him back into the world of high-stakes assassins.
As Marvin navigates his treacherous past, he must evade his ruthless brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu), a crime lord. Directed by JoJo Eusebio, known for his expertise in stunts and fight choreography, Love Hurts features an eclectic cast including Marshawn Lynch, Mustafa Shakir, Lio Tipton, Rhys Darby, and Sean Astin.
Love Hurts is set to hit theaters on February 7, 2025.
