    A Flood Warning remains in effect for several rivers in Texas. Affected areas include:

    * Trinity River at Riverside, impacting Trinity, San Jacinto, Walker, and Polk Counties

    * Navasota River near Normangee, affecting Madison, Brazos, and Grimes Counties

    Minor flooding is forecasted for both rivers.

    Motorists are advised to avoid driving through flooded areas. If encountering a flooded road, turn around and do not attempt to drive through it. Most flood-related deaths occur in vehicles.

    FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY EVENING

    * WHAT: Minor flooding is occurring and forecasted

    * WHERE: Trinity River at Riverside

    * WHEN: Until Thursday evening

    * IMPACTS:

     + At 134.0 feet, lowland flooding continues with the boat ramp in Walker County inundated.

     + At 135.0 feet, significant backwater up Thomas Lake floods areas in Walker County.

    Current river stage is 134.5 feet, with a forecasted crest of 134.6 feet tonight and a fall below flood stage on Thursday morning.
