eller Williams Realty has appointed Shanan Steere as its new director of growth operations. A 27-year real estate veteran and franchise leader, Steere will leverage her coaching skills to help other franchise owners grow their businesses through leadership training and recruiting. She will also facilitate mastermind groups with team leaders and operating principals.
Steere's background in coaching and training has prepared her for this role. As a KW MAPS coach and BOLD instructor, she has experience helping others achieve success. Her appointment aligns with Keller Williams' commitment to developing its market center leaders, said President and CEO Mark Willis. "Shanan is an exceptional talent who can help our core brokerage leaders remain equipped to fuel expansion and build on our already strong culture," he added.
In a related development, John Holley, the CEO of North Texas Real Estate Information Systems (NTREIS), will retire at the end of January after 20 years with the organization. Under his leadership, NTREIS expanded from 19,000 subscribers in 2005 to over 53,000 today, making it the sixth-largest MLS in the country and the largest in Texas.
Holley is credited with leading NTREIS through a period of rapid technological change in real estate. His commitment to innovation has been instrumental in supporting subscribers and their clients throughout the region. The MLS is currently working with a search firm to identify his replacement.
