LA Fire, Police Allocate $210M for Real Estate & Infrastructure

os Angeles Fire & Police Pensions, a $29 bn fund, announced $210 m (€180.6 m) in real‑estate and infrastructure stakes. It invested $75 m in Realty Income’s US Core Plus Fund, an open‑ended vehicle focused on U.S. net‑lease industrial and retail assets that aims for 9‑11 % net returns. The same amount went to Carlyle Property Investors, whose Q2 2025 report values the fund at $7.6 bn and projects a 9 % IRR; it holds senior housing, manufactured homes, single‑family rentals and self‑storage. A $60 m commitment was approved for Meridiam Infrastructure North America Fund IV, a build‑to‑core vehicle targeting 12‑15 % gross returns while raising $1.7 bn.
