I Think Santa is a Real Estate Agent

Editor’s note: Candy Evan, real‑estate pro and poet, reimagines ‘Twas the Night… with rhyme.

ecember 24, 2025 – Holiday Greetings

Candy Evan, a North‑Texas listing ace, is famed for her market savvy and her knack for verse.

She’s taken the classic “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and turned it into a realtor’s rhyme,

showing the holiday hustle from a home‑buyer’s point of view.

In the quiet of the neighborhood, a last‑minute showing rattles the night.

Sellers, eager to close, nod “yes” as the agent pulls them into a freshly staged space.

Children, tucked in, wake to the scent of pine and the promise of a new home.

The couple, dressed for the season, have their reservations set—buyers first, always.

A frantic buyer, hoping for a year‑end tax break, rushes in.

The agent, quick on her feet, guides them through the property, noting the gas fireplace with its faux ceramic logs.

Suddenly, a sleigh appears, pulled by eight reindeer, and a familiar figure in a red suit steps out—St. Nick, the great real‑estate Santa.

His business card, a throwback to 1978, still graces his briefcase.

He strides into the house, soot‑stained but cheerful, and begins the tour.

Lights flicker on, rooms gleam, and the buyers feel the magic of a well‑staged home.

St. Nick hands over keys, thanks the team, and reminds everyone that the holiday season is about new beginnings.

He hops into his Tesla, waves goodbye, and heads to Addison Airport, promising more listings in 2026.

Happy holidays from Candy Evan—may your next home be as bright as the North Star.
