AI James E. Hanson, the largest New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, has acquired two Lehigh Valley firms: The Garibaldi Group and NAI Summit.
The Garibaldi Group, founded in 1919 by the fourth generation of the Garibaldi family, will relocate its Chatham office to Parsippany, while NAI Summit will continue to operate from its Allentown location.
With over 100 team members and more than 10 million square feet under management, the combined companies will strengthen their presence in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. According to President William C. Hanson, "Our families have multi-generational relationships and similar cultures that make this a natural fit."
The acquisition brings together NAI Summit's property management division, which manages over three million square feet of commercial space, with The Garibaldi Group's expertise in various asset classes. Jeffrey Garibaldi Jr., managing partner of NAI Summit, will remain in his role and collaborate with Hanson on day-to-day operations.
