    Compton – A 32‑acre waterfront parcel on the Sakonnet River sold for $6.5 million, the town’s most expensive land deal in two decades. Allen Gammons of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate listed the property; buyers, represented by Ryan Shea of Homesmart, secured it. The site, with views of Portsmouth and Middletown, could become an estate or subdivision. “This sale reflects Allen Gammons’ expertise and his team’s caliber,” said George Patsio, Partner of Commonwealth Realty Group, Berkshire Hathaway. The brokerage runs 21 offices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, handling estate.
