n Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., the University of Central Oklahoma will host the inaugural Oklahoma Real Estate Hall of Fame during its Commercial Real Estate Summit. The ceremony, held in the Nigh University Center Ballroom, will honor the first two inductees, Mark Beffort and Mo Anderson, for their transformative influence on the industry.

Mark Beffort, CEO of Robinson Park Investments, has reshaped Oklahoma City’s skyline and bolstered the local economy through strategic development and investment. His reputation as a builder of both properties and partnerships sets a benchmark for commercial real‑estate excellence.

Mo Anderson, former CEO and Vice‑Chairman of Keller Williams Realty International, steered the company from a Texas‑based firm to North America’s top real‑estate franchise. Her decision to expand beyond state lines, beginning in Oklahoma, laid the groundwork for a global network of over 1,100 offices in 56 countries.

Interim Dean Russell Evans of UCO’s College of Business highlighted the event’s significance: “Launching the Hall of Fame with icons from both commercial and residential sectors showcases the breadth of real‑estate impact in Oklahoma. We’re proud to host this milestone and honor leaders who exemplify service and vision.”

The Hall of Fame will memorialize those who have shaped Oklahoma’s built environment. Attendees will enjoy appetizers, beer, and wine as the Summit concludes. Summit participants receive free admission; external guests may join for $50. The evening promises celebration, recognition, and networking as the state’s real‑estate community inaugurates a new tradition.

    J. David Chapman, Ph.D., chair of finance and professor of real estate at UCO, is the author.
