ulteGroup is developing a luxury single-family home community called Canter in Wellington, with 42 units planned for a 22.5-acre site purchased from the Catholic Church for $11.7 million. The land is adjacent to the Isles at Wellington gated community and will not impact the church's current location. DiVosta, PulteGroup's luxury division, will build homes ranging from 3,300 to 5,400 square feet, with prices starting at $1.5 million.
Construction on Canter is set to begin in 2025, with completion expected in 2026. This project joins other recent developments in Wellington, including a 108-unit single-family home community planned by PulteGroup near Lake Worth Beach and a 145-unit community dubbed Amara, also in Wellington. The village has seen significant development activity, driven in part by its reputation as a hub for the international equestrian community.
The Winter Equestrian Festival, held annually in Wellington, is one of the largest and longest-running equestrian competitions in the US. Recent developments in the area include Lennar's purchase of 172 Wellington homesites for $54 million and luxury spec developer Joe Farrell's launch of a 27-unit single-family home project with prices starting at $6 million.
