illionaire developer Bill Malhotra is launching sales for Ocean580, a luxury oceanfront condo project in Pompano Beach. The 10-story development at 580 Briny Avenue will feature 17 units, ranging from 3,700 to 8,900 square feet, with four- and five-bedroom floorplans. Designed by FSMY architecture firm and Manhas Design for interiors, the building will offer a pool, spa facilities, fitness center, private beach access, billiards room, and entertainment lounge.

    Prices start at $4.7 million, with completion expected in 2027. Claridge Homes, Malhotra's Ottawa-based company, acquired the 0.9-acre site for $11.5 million in 2022. This marks Malhotra's second project in Pompano Beach, following a planned Courtyard by Marriott hotel announced in August.

    Pompano Beach is attracting multiple developers, including Jorge Pérez's Related Group with three luxury condo projects: the Waldorf Astoria Pompano Beach, W Pompano Beach Hotel & Residences, and Casamar. Edgardo Defortuna and Ricardo Dunin secured $259 million for their Ritz-Carlton Residences project in 2023, while Vertical Developments and others announced plans for a 19-story Armani-branded condo project in November.
