scambia County's luxury real estate market kicked off the new year with a bang, with multiple homes selling for over $1 million in January. The top five sales were spread across Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and Perdido Key, with four of the properties boasting waterfront views.

    According to the Pensacola Association of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service (MLS), luxury homes sold for an average price of $1.45 million last month. Here are the top five sales:

    5. 1735 E. Blount Street, $1.2 million - This East Hill home, built in 1918, was one of the most expensive sales despite not having waterfront views. The two-story property features modern amenities and a detached guest house.

    4. 1204 Panferio Drive, $1.37 million - Located on Pensacola Beach, this contemporary-style home sold for over $1.3 million after being renovated before its sale. It boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a pool.

    3. 2371 Bayou Boulevard, $1.6 million - This one-story home in Pensacola features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a dock with a boat lift. It was sold just a few months after hitting the market.

    2. 17030 Starboard Place, $1.77 million - Located in Perdido Key's Yacht Harbour Cottages subdivision, this three-story home sold for over $1.7 million. It features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and access to neighborhood amenities like a pool and boat slip.

    1. 900 Ariola Drive, $2.12 million - This two-story property in the Villa Segunda subdivision on Pensacola Beach was the top sale of January, selling for over $2 million just a month after listing. It features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 18 guests.
