harles Tyrwhitt, a London-based menswear store, is relocating to 477 Madison Ave. from its current location at 437 Madison Ave., doubling its space in the process. The new lease covers 3,800 square feet on the East 51st Street corner and was negotiated by MONA for the landlord RFR Realty, while Cushman & Wakefield represented Charles Tyrwhitt.
The store has six Manhattan locations and will be one of several high-end tenants at 477 Madison Ave., which is mostly leased to office tenants. Recent signings include Treville Capital and Fiera Capital.
Tom Ford Fashion has also secured a new location, signing a 10-year lease for 11,118 square feet at SL Green's 500 Park Ave. The building, a landmarked property on East 59th Street, is now fully leased to office tenants including The Georgetown Company, Vera Wang, and Friedland Properties.
The retail space will be occupied by FRATO's flagship furniture showroom. Meanwhile, the former Hammacher Schlemmer headquarters at 145 E. 57th St. has also reached full occupancy with Data Science Innovators taking 5,067 square feet. Danish furniture maker Carl Hansen & Son has replaced Hammacher Schlemmer on the retail floors.
