ahesh Babu's world has been turned upside down with a bombshell revelation: the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is set to grill him on April 27 in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged money laundering by two Hyderabad-based real estate firms, Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group. This sudden development has left fans and the film fraternity stunned, especially considering Mahesh's current busy schedule shooting for SS Rajamouli's ambitious pan-India action spectacle.

    According to ED sources, Mahesh allegedly endorsed real estate projects linked to the embattled firms in exchange for a whopping Rs 5.9 crore – Rs 3.4 crore via cheque and a suspicious Rs 2.5 crore in cash. The latter has raised eyebrows as it may be part of a larger money laundering scheme.

    The ED's investigation is rooted in FIRs filed by Telangana police against key individuals, including Narendra Surana and K Sathish Chandra Gupta, accused of duping buyers through unauthorized layouts, reselling plots multiple times, and making false promises about registrations. While no verdict has been passed yet, the news has sparked a maelstrom online, casting a dark shadow over Mahesh's reputation before any official proceedings or clarification.
