ntrepreneur Nidhi Kapur has taken the concept of "DIY" to new heights by creating luxury home furnishings through skilled artisans in North Carolina. When she couldn't find affordable high-end pieces, Kapur decided to make them herself. As the founder and CEO of Maiden Home, she's now looking to sell her Tribeca duplex for $4.75 million.
Located at 55 Warren St., this stunning property was once owned by Daniel Craig, known for his role as James Bond. The 3,174-square-foot space boasts 13-foot ceilings, multiple skylights, and hardwood floors throughout. With its open layout, the home is perfect for showcasing art and enjoying natural light.
The great room features wide-plank herringbone floors, vaulted ceilings, and a custom plaster fireplace. A chef's kitchen with a pantry and temperature-controlled wine closet for over 700 bottles adds to the luxury feel. The lower floor holds the bedrooms, including a main suite with custom closets and a spa-like marble bath.
Maiden Home furnishings, which include side tables, sectionals, and chairs, are both functional and chic, blending seamlessly into any home design aesthetic. The brand has come a long way since its launch in 2017 by Kapur, who was previously the head of business development at Birchbox. Today, Maiden Home has a shop in the Meatpacking District.
The building itself is a historic gem, built in 1920 with a limestone facade. With its unique features and luxurious finishes, this Tribeca duplex is a rare find for anyone looking to own a piece of Manhattan real estate. The listing brokers are Krista Nickols and Martin Garcia of Serhant.
