etropolitan Real Estate will hold its inaugural Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway on Nov. 24 at 101 H St., Bakersfield, beginning at 11 a.m. The event will run until supplies run out, offering music, free Latino fare—pozole, tamales, champurrado—and a take‑home bag for the first 100 families, each containing a turkey and extra goodies. A total of 100 turkeys will be handed out on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
