Miami Beach Estate of Late Bank Co-Founder Stays in Family Hands After Trustee Sale

T
he Miami Beach estate of the late Charles Dascal, co-founder of Continental National Bank, has been sold within his family. Jacqueline Dascal Chariff, as trustee of her mother Fanny's estate, sold the 14,100-square-foot mansion at 1470 Daytonia Road to an LLC tied to the address. The buying entity is managed by Elizabeth Dascal, a renowned art collector and Charles' sister-in-law, Vladimir Spector. Gabriella Chariff, Jacqueline's daughter, listed the property with Carlo Dipasquale of Compass, while Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.

The estate, which boasts six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and 225 feet of waterfront, was built in 2008 on a 0.8-acre plot purchased by Charles and Fanny for $125,000 in 1974. The property listed for $36 million in December before undergoing three price cuts. The sale comes after several high-profile deals in Miami Beach, including David and Victoria Beckham's record-breaking waterfront mansion purchase and billionaire Richard Saghian's acquisition of two homes on North Bay Road.

Miami Beach mansion sells for $23 million, former home of Continental Bank founder.
