ocialite Ann Barish, wife of film producer Keith Barish and co-founder of Planet Hollywood, has found a buyer for her Miami Beach waterfront home. The nearly half-acre property at 4810 North Bay Road is listed with Jill Eber of The Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker for $22.5 million. The two-story, six-bedroom Mediterranean-style house topped last week's luxury signed contracts report.
The pending sale is one of 14 contracts marked in the Multiple Listing Service between Nov. 4 and Nov. 10, according to the Eklund-Gomes report. This report tracks listings of properties asking $4 million and up in Miami-Dade County. The majority of these contracts were inked following the election, suggesting a possible increase in deal activity.
The combined asking dollar volume for the 14 signed contracts totals $114 million. Single-family homes averaged an asking price of about $8.1 million and spent an average of 124 days on the market. Condos had a combined asking price of $33.2 million and spent an average of about 86 days on the market, averaging over $2,500 per square foot.
The most expensive condo to go under contract was a unit at Palazzo Del Sol on Fisher Island, listed for $15.5 million after being purchased by Stanley and Margaret Smith in 2016 for $9 million. In comparison, last week's sales activity in New York saw buyers sign contracts for 39 homes with a combined asking price of $260.9 million.
