Cuban baseball player Yoán Moncada is poised to make a significant profit from the sale of his seven-bedroom, six-bathroom home in Hialeah Gardens. The 7,442-square-foot property, built in 1998 on a 1.1-acre lot, features an array of luxurious amenities including a home theater, pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, gazebo, and basketball court.

The sale is one of 13 high-end contracts marked between November 25th and December 1st in the Multiple Listing Service, according to the Eklund-Gomes report. The combined asking price for these properties totals $104.3 million, with single-family homes averaging $9.1 million and condos averaging $2,000 per square foot.

The waterfront home at 250 West San Marino Drive in Miami Beach tops the list with an asking price of $17.9 million. Another high-end property, a waterfront assemblage in Surfside, is listed for $17.5 million. The priciest condo to find a buyer last week was unit 1206N at Oceana in Key Biscayne, priced at just over $6 million.

The sale of Moncada's home will likely set a record for Hialeah Gardens, with the property changing hands for about $5.5 million after being purchased by his company for approximately $1.4 million in 2020.
