n the Hamptons, a culinary kingpin is expanding his empire. Michelin-starred chef Rich Torrisi has just added a $10 million beach house to his portfolio, joining his existing Montauk home overlooking Fort Pond Bay.

The new acquisition, purchased in an all-cash deal without broker involvement, boasts 7,591 square feet of design magazine-worthy interiors on 1.66 acres of prime real estate. The property's previous owner, Robert McBride, a power lobbyist with ties to renewable energy firms and more, declined to comment on the sale.

Built in 2008, the gray-shingled dwelling features an impressive array of indoor-outdoor living spaces, including a wood-paneled tackle room adorned with a whimsical mural. The residence also boasts a gym, radiant heat, and a lower-level wine cellar with a tasting room – perfect for sipping vintages while taking in the ocean views.

Torrisi's culinary empire, Major Food Group (MFG), has grown exponentially since its humble beginnings as a single eatery, Torrisi Italian Specialties, in 2009. The brand now encompasses over 40 restaurants and private clubs across the globe, from New York to Riyadh, Toronto to Hong Kong. MFG has even ventured into residential real estate with the construction of its own luxury tower in Miami.

As one of the city's most sought-after chefs, Torrisi's latest acquisition is a testament to his success – and a savvy investment in the Hamptons' high-end market.
