Midtown office tower with Bloomberg, famed restaurant hits full occupancy

Another week, another Midtown office building fully occupied.

M
idtown’s 919 Third Avenue, owned by SL Green, now sits at full occupancy after a 66,100‑sq‑ft addition by the New York State Office of General Services. The 15‑year lease places the agency in 117,390 sq ft of the tower. The 1.5‑million‑sq‑ft building also houses Bloomberg LP, which expanded to 925,000 sq ft last year, and Schulte Roth & Zabel. It’s best known for the historic P.J. Clarke’s restaurant on East 55th Street. CBRE represented OGS with Stephen B. Siegel and Liz Lash, while SL Green’s team was led by Robert and Ryan Alexander. The tower’s 1.5‑million‑sq‑ft footprint anchors Midtown’s office market and continues to attract high‑profile tenants.
