ranklin is experiencing a surge in high-end home sales, with prices reaching new heights. Since the start of the pandemic, average home prices have risen by 44%, from around $299,000 in early 2020 to approximately $432,000 as of this year. The Milwaukee County suburb has seen a mini building boom, with 336 permits issued for new single-family homes since January 2020.

    This year alone, nine homes in Franklin have sold for over $1 million, according to Metro MLS records. Some notable sales include:

    A five-bedroom home near Tuckaway Country Club sold for $1.05 million in June, featuring high-end finishes like a Bluetooth-equipped stove hood and two master bedrooms.

    Two custom-built homes in Pleasant View Reserve by Veridian Homes sold for over $1 million each: one for $1.383 million on September 11 and the other for $1.233 million on October 1.

    A four-bedroom home near Whitnall Park sold for $1.575 million on October 9, featuring a vaulted front entryway and wraparound porch.

    An all-brick Tudor-style home built in 2012 sold for $1.6 million in June, making it Franklin's priciest sale of the year, with six bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a swimming pool.
