Mister Car Wash Plan Sparks Concerns Over Traffic and Access

REAL ESTATE | Traffic, access concerns raised over Mister Car Wash proposal

A
new Mister Car Wash is proposed for 960 West Paradise Drive in West Bend, WI. The developer wants to build a 4,800-square-foot structure on 1.26 acres, replacing the former site of Harris Bank, Educators Credit Union, and Mid-Moraine Municipal Court.

The plans include 11 parking stalls and 12 vacuum bays adjacent to a 130-foot car wash tunnel. Concerns were raised about traffic impact, with an estimated 43 cars per hour, potentially cutting off access to the neighboring strip mall or spilling onto Silverbrook Drive.

Despite these concerns, both zoning and site plan approvals were granted, with a condition that allows staff to review traffic data before finalizing the project. The nearest Mister Car Wash is located on Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls, while a Kwik Trip nearby also offers car wash services.

Mister Car Wash development sparks traffic and accessibility concerns in local community.
