he National Association of Realtors has appointed Leslie Nettleford-Freeman as associate general counsel and vice president of legal affairs and brand protection. With over 20 years of experience in trademark enforcement, she will lead the association's efforts to protect the Realtor brand. Nettleford-Freeman joins from AARP, where she led major trademark enforcement campaigns and developed internal intellectual property training programs.
MoxiWorks has promoted Dave Greenbaum to chief customer officer, a newly created role focused on leading the end-to-end customer experience across its AI-powered real estate platform. With over 20 years of experience in operations and customer success, Greenbaum will oversee client success, satisfaction, and retention efforts for thousands of brokerages and agents.
Fannie Mae has added Barry Habib to its board of directors. A mortgage professional with extensive industry experience, Habib will serve on the board until the next annual election unless he resigns or is removed. His appointment comes after Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte made changes to the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac boards earlier this year.
NAR's CEO Nykia Wright praised Nettleford-Freeman's expertise in intellectual property law, saying she will champion the Realtor trademark. Nettleford-Freeman emphasized that protecting the brand is not just about legal enforcement but also preserving trust and professionalism among members.
