he Agency has welcomed two high-profile executives to its ranks, poised to drive the global luxury brokerage's digital and operational transformations. Zane Burnett joins as EVP of Digital Strategy, while Peter Ianos takes on Head of Operations for Core Services.
Burnett brings a wealth of experience in technology and innovation from his previous role at Rechat, an AI-powered agent platform, where he played a key part in the company's growth and industry recognition. "Zane is a trailblazer whose expertise will be instrumental as we push the boundaries of digital capabilities," said The Agency President Rainy Hake Austin.
In his new position, Burnett will oversee all aspects of The Agency's digital strategy, including enhancing its online presence, leading an in-house team of strategists, and leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies. His extensive background in technology leadership positions at Willis Allen Real Estate, Alain Pinel Realtors, and Fillmore Real Estate, as well as consulting for LeadingRE and ActivePipe, will serve him well.
Meanwhile, Ianos brings over 20 years of industry expertise to his new role, most recently serving as Chief Experience Officer at Engel & Völkers Americas. He led initiatives in recruiting, retention, and brokerage services during his 12-year tenure with the firm. "As the industry evolves, ancillary services have become a key differentiator," Austin noted. Ianos will lead the expansion of The Agency's mortgage, escrow, title, insurance, and relocation services, as well as partnerships, ensuring a seamless full-service experience for agents and clients worldwide.
