ew River Community and Technical College is launching a 90-hour West Virginia Real Estate Pre-License course this fall. The program aims to equip future real estate professionals with the necessary skills to pass the state licensing exam.

    The Mercer County Campus course starts on August 18, meeting Monday through Wednesday evenings, while the Greenbrier Valley Campus course begins on August 26, running Tuesday through Thursday evenings. Both courses are taught by licensed instructors: Joyce Barker at Mercer and Tricia Hoover at Greenbrier Valley.

    The comprehensive course covers essential topics such as real estate law, finance, principles, and practice. The total cost is $540, which includes the textbook. Financial aid may be available through the HEAPS Workforce Grant for eligible students.
