ew River Community and Technical College is offering the 90-hour West Virginia Real Estate Pre-License course this fall at its Greenbrier Valley and Mercer County campuses. The courses are designed to prepare students for the state licensing exam, covering topics such as real estate principles, law, finance, and practice.

    The Greenbrier Valley Campus course begins August 26, 2025, meeting Tuesday through Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m., taught by Tricia Hoover. The Mercer County Campus course starts August 18, 2025, with Monday through Wednesday evening sessions from 6-9 p.m., led by Joyce Barker.

    The cost for each course is $540, including the textbook, and financial aid may be available to eligible students through the Higher Education Adult Part-Time Student (HEAPS) Workforce Grant. Interested individuals are encouraged to register early due to limited space.
