Dallas-based investment firm has expanded its portfolio with the purchase of a 375-acre mixed-use tract in Grayson County. Texas Republic Management acquired the land along the planned Dallas North Tollway extension from Midas Global Investments for an undisclosed price. The property was part of the larger Double Platinum Ranch, which spans over 1,200 acres north of Kimberlin Road.
The deal was facilitated by Caleb Lavey and Rex Glendenning with REX Real Estate. Texas Republic Management has been actively investing in the area, having recently closed on parcels at Bryson Ranch and Cottonwood developments. The firm's growing portfolio now exceeds 700 acres in Grayson County.
Ben Weber, founder of Texas Republic Management, is optimistic about the region's future growth, citing major investments such as Texas Instruments' chip plant in Sherman and the planned Margaritaville resort along Lake Texoma. Weber believes that the corridor along the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Road holds great potential for development.
