ocus Commercial Real Estate, a Rogers-based firm, has merged with Bennett Commercial Real Estate in Rogers. The merger was finalized on May 1, but the terms of the deal remain undisclosed. The combined company will operate under the Focus name and brand, adopting a new logo featuring blue and grey colors.
The team's office is now located at 5512 W. Walsh Lane in Rogers, housing 16 employees, including 11 brokers and an intern. Clinton Bennett, founder of Bennett Commercial Real Estate, has over 18 years of experience as a commercial real estate broker. He stated that the merger was a strategic decision to create a stronger firm with enhanced capabilities.
Bennett noted that his company had discussed merging with Focus for several years before serious talks began six to eight months ago. The combined entity will offer specialized management services for various property types, including office, retail, industrial, and medical properties. This expansion is expected to provide clients with tailored solutions.
Butch Gurganus, principal and co-founder of Focus Commercial Real Estate, emphasized that the merger aligns the right people with a shared vision. He believes the combined firm will be more responsive and well-rounded, equipped to handle various aspects of commercial real estate. Bennett and Gurganus will serve as managing directors of the merged company.
The firms' services have little overlap, with Focus being strong in retail and land work, while Bennett Commercial Real Estate excels in industrial and medical office properties. The merger allows for a more comprehensive service offering and access to a property management company. The combined team's use of technology and expanded staff will enable better market insights and a stronger presence in the commercial real estate sector.
Focus' brokerage staff will operate from the Rogers office, while maintaining a property management presence at Beau Terre, Northwest Arkansas' largest office park.
