n 21 November 2025, Odgers announced that partner Peter Lawrence will take the helm of its real‑estate practice. Lawrence will guide the practice’s work in investment, development, asset management and advisory services for a spectrum of clients, from listed firms to family estates. CEO Kester Scrope praised Lawrence’s proven leadership and industry insight, noting that under his direction the firm will help clients secure the talent required to seize the next growth phase.
The timing is critical. Build‑to‑Rent, logistics and prime London office markets are gaining momentum, and confidence is expected to return across both commercial and residential sectors. Lawrence’s leadership will strengthen the practice’s presence in the living sector and continue delivering strategic talent solutions throughout the built environment.
Lawrence has spent 16 years at Odgers, beginning as a researcher in 2009 and building a reputation for securing leadership placements and nurturing long‑term client relationships. He has managed end‑to‑end searches across the UK, internationally, and previously worked in real‑estate recruitment in the Middle East.
The real‑estate practice serves the entire property life cycle—investment, development, asset management, consulting, advisory and support services—partnering with listed and private property firms, investment managers, occupiers, consultants, private equity and estates.
“Real estate is cyclical, and after a challenging few years we’re seeing early signs of renewed vigor that signal the start of a new cycle,” Lawrence said. “Odgers is uniquely positioned to help clients secure the leadership talent needed to capitalize on this momentum in both living and commercial sectors.”
Odgers has also expanded its technology practice and scale‑up offering.
The firm delivers executive search, leadership assessment and development strategies worldwide. With over 250 partners covering more than 50 sectors from 59 offices in 29 countries, Odgers serves a global clientele.
In Canada, Brad Beveridge was recently named chief executive officer, following four years as president during which he steered the firm’s shift from an executive‑search focus to an integrated leadership advisory model. Beveridge remains on Odgers’ global and U.S. boards.
In India, Odgers announced a leadership transition. Kaushik DasGupta, who heads the consumer, retail & media practice in APAC, has been promoted to managing partner – India, while Prasad Medury will continue as chairman. Mark Braithwaite praised DasGupta’s energy and commitment to quality, expressing confidence in his ability to lead Odgers India to new heights as the economy grows.
Carl Lovas, chairman and CEO of Odgers, highlighted Beveridge’s contributions over the past four years. Since 2021, his strategic leadership has implemented a new vision, attracted top talent, aligned North American businesses, and introduced a people‑and‑culture strategy that boosted engagement and development. These efforts have improved client experience and firm performance, positioning Odgers for the next growth phase.
