he HYM Investment Group, alongside National Real Estate Advisors, Cathexis, Ullico, and the City of Revere, celebrated the grand opening of Amaya, the first residential building to deliver at Suffolk Downs. The 475-unit development brings over 34,000 square feet of state-of-the-art amenities and 24,000 square feet of ground-level retail space to Beachmont Square.
Located adjacent to the Blue Line MBTA Station, Amaya offers easy access to Downtown Boston and Logan Airport by subway. Units range from studios to two-bedrooms, managed by Bozzuto, which provides high-quality amenities including a fitness center, outdoor courtyards with a swimming pool and grilling stations, and convenient lounge areas.
Amaya's 24,000 square feet of ground-level retail space is being leased by BLACKLINE Retail Group, anchored by Twisted Fate Brewing, a Massachusetts-based nanobrewery. Residents will enjoy access to a diverse array of food and beverage options, as well as lifestyle amenities within Beachmont Square.
"We're excited to celebrate the grand opening of this landmark residential development and welcome future residents to the thriving community of Beachmont Square," said Jeffrey Kanne, President and CEO of National Real Estate Advisors. "Amaya exemplifies our dedication to investing in sustainable assets that create integrated communities."
Thomas N. O'Brien, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of HYM, added, "With the grand opening of Amaya, we're celebrating the realization of Suffolk Downs' vision and excited to officially deliver the first residential building to the site." The development is a milestone in Beachmont Square's vibrant community, offering modern residences with extensive amenities and lively retail offerings.
The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, performances by Veronica Robles Cultural Center's all-female mariachi band, local catering from La Hacienda, brews from Twisted Fate, and a signature Amayarita cocktail. Mayor of Revere Patrick J. Keefe praised the development as a transformative opportunity for Revere and its surroundings.
Amaya is part of the Suffolk Downs Master Site, which will deliver 10,000 units of housing upon completion. The site's redevelopment broke ground in May 2022 on the Revere side, with Phase 1 expected to be completed soon.
