egasus Real Estate Advisory (Pegasus) is proud to highlight the significant impact of two key hires, Dan Carr and Tyler Simpson, who have driven growth in 2024. Their contributions have fueled the firm's continued expansion.
Dan Carr, Vice President of Asset Management, has been instrumental in integrating portfolio strategy and business development since joining Pegasus. Under his leadership, client utilization of asset management services has seen exceptional growth, with a 30% increase in property management portfolios over the past year. This now spans more than 5 million square feet across 335 properties, valued at over $3 billion.
"We're grateful to our clients for entrusting us with their commercial real estate portfolios," said Carr. "In today's volatile market landscape, partnering with a strategic advisor becomes increasingly valuable." Carr added that Pegasus looks forward to continuing to navigate the market alongside its clients to position their portfolios for long-term success.
Prior to joining Pegasus, Carr served as WeWork's Vice President and Head of Leasing for the Southwestern U.S., overseeing 4 million square feet while executing a regional portfolio rationalization plan.
Tyler Simpson, Executive Vice President of Capital Markets, has played a pivotal role in expanding debt origination capabilities. Since joining Pegasus, he has successfully placed over $100 million in debt across various property types, including retail, hospitality, and construction projects. Simpson stated that the market's increasing complexity demands inventive financing solutions, which Pegasus delivers to align with clients' long-term objectives.
Prior to joining Pegasus, Simpson was Director of Capital Markets for PPM, overseeing the origination of over $500 million in loans focused on bridge debt for transitional/value-add and ground-up development.
With significant growth in both asset management and debt capital markets, Pegasus remains poised to deliver tailored strategies and value-additive outcomes for its clients. The firm's diversified services platform includes investment advisory, debt placement, asset management, and leasing advisory, positioning it to withstand and thrive in all market cycles since its inception in 1988.
