New Hope, nestled between Philadelphia and Manhattan, has emerged as a celebrity hotspot, with its serene surroundings and rural charm drawing in stars like moths to a flame.
Yolanda Hadid's 32-acre estate, complete with a stone farmhouse, horse stables, and botanical garden, was the first to set the trend. The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star purchased the property in 2017 to be closer to her daughters, Gigi and Bella, who were living in New York City at the time.
As Yolanda's family spent more time at the farmhouse, they began documenting their idyllic life on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their peaceful existence. "It's where we can all come and feel like ourselves again," Gigi told Elle in 2019 about the family home. The supermodel added that when she's there, she feels normal, without the pressures of fame.
Gigi's then-boyfriend, Zayn Malik, followed suit by buying a farm in New Hope in 2018. Two years later, their daughter Khai was born at Yolanda's house. Although they broke up in 2021 after a physical altercation between Malik and Yolanda, he still resides in Bucks County to be near his daughter.
Malik described the rural environment as "chill" and "quiet," where one can reflect on life without the noise of the world. Gigi has since moved on with actor Bradley Cooper, who purchased a $6.5 million gentleman's farm near Yolanda's property in December 2023. The Oscar nominee's farmhouse boasts seven bedrooms, six baths, and luxurious amenities like a pool and private lake.
New Hope's allure extends beyond its celebrity residents, as the area has also attracted filmmakers, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, and Julianne Moore, who have been spotted filming movies in the vicinity. As Cooper's farm becomes the latest addition to this exclusive community, it's clear that Bucks County's charm has won over the hearts of Hollywood's elite.
