Rochester police respond to stabbing at southeast apartment building Sunday morning.

T
he Penz Automotive Group has purchased the real estate where its Nissan and GMC dealerships are located in Rochester for $8.5 million. The properties, at 4642 and 4646 U.S. Highway 52 North, were acquired by Penz Investments, LLC on August 15, 2025.

Penz Automotive took over the dealerships six years ago from Lupient Automotive Group, expanding its presence in Rochester to three vehicle lots. The group has since added a Chevrolet dealership in Spring Valley and proposed plans to relocate the Nissan dealership to a central location, although those plans stalled.

The properties include a 14,900-square-foot building for Nissan built in 2005 and 32,224-square-feet of buildings for GMC constructed in 1974. Olmsted County estimates the total market value of the properties at $5.97 million, with the Nissan property valued at $2.01 million and the GMC property valued at $3.96 million.
