interest is breaking the Midtown leasing lull with a significant deal at 11 Madison Ave. The company will occupy the entire 13th floor, spanning 83,000 square feet. This move comes after Pinterest's decision to vacate 40,000 square feet at 225 Park Ave. South.
The lease brings 11 Madison Avenue to 92% occupancy, with an asking rent of $90 per square foot. As a social media platform focused on visual discovery and product scanning, Pinterest was represented by JLL in the deal. SL Green, the building's owner, was represented by Newmark.
This new lease adds to the roster of prominent tenants at 11 Madison Avenue, which includes UBS, SONY, Suntory, and IMG. The building boasts a total square footage of 2.34 million.
