Polish town has extended an invitation to Elon Musk to purchase its 13th-century castle and establish it as his European headquarters. Mayor Piotr Bujak posted the offer on Musk's social media platform X and sent letters to his companies, highlighting the castle's potential.
The Glogowek castle in southwestern Poland boasts a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, including a brief stint as Poland's capital in the 17th century. It has also hosted notable figures such as composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Bujak believes the castle has a unique energy and would be an ideal location for innovative projects.
The region is known for its winemaking tradition and boasts a favorable climate, with Bujak comparing it to Tuscany. The town's picturesque location near European capitals like Berlin and Warsaw makes it an attractive option. However, the castle requires significant renovation and needs a private investor to bring it back to life.
