Long & Foster Exec Named President of Florida's Premier Sotheby's Intl Realty, Also Takes on Atlanta Regional VP Role at Coldwell Banker.

With over 30 years of experience in real estate, Thiel will oversee daily operations for the brokerage, which has 1,400 global advisors across 40 offices in Florida and North Carolina.

    Thiel spent two decades at Long & Foster after her firm was acquired by the company in 1998. She became president of Long & Foster in 2023 following a leadership change and led the firm's 200 offices with 9,000 agents. When she left Long & Foster, CEO Patrick Bain praised her as an "incredible leader" who prioritized agent growth and customer experience.

    In her new role at Sotheby's, Thiel reports to CEO Budge Huskey, who highlighted her leadership experience in scaling large brokerages while maintaining a strong culture. Thiel expressed excitement about collaborating with the talented team at Sotheby's and building on the company's foundation, committing to elevate customer experiences and reinforce its position as a luxury market leader.

    Meanwhile, Sherry Noles has been promoted to regional vice president for Coldwell Banker's Atlanta region. With over two decades of experience in real estate, including 20 years as an agent in Atlanta, Noles will oversee 10 offices with around 1,400 sales associates. Her leadership roles have focused on continuous improvement and delivering results, creating environments where agents can grow and thrive.

    Noles said she's looking forward to leading her team in the dynamic real estate market, innovating, and elevating the client experience.
